user error? May be. But it didn't work for me

I wanted to like them but they ended up in the cart. I had a wiring project on my boat (installing 14 LEDs) and thought this would make it super smooth. Spring. None of them worked for me. I even manually stripped some of the wire insulation to see if he was sure both sides were just touching the bare wire. nope Tried different sizes of wires (all within stated sizes). no juice I'm certainly not an electrician, but I did my part of the wiring. I tried everything and eventually gave up. don't…

They don't have anything "fast "

Not happy with it. I got them to hook up some wires for a power seat I'm installing in my RAM 1500. They're advertised as self-cleaning, but they definitely aren't. I tried several different wires to test and on all but one it didn't cut the insulation or make contact with the wire itself unless I opened and closed it a few times or twisted the connector around the wire a few times turned. It's not fast and it's not easy. It would be easier to just solder and wrap with electrical tape. I ended…

Normal quick splices are better

They may work but not 100% like original quick splices. move and if you don't cut the wire before crimping the connector you just need to crimp the rubber cap onto the wire only about 35% of the time. This breaks the connection and makes contact, the expensive in-car parts stores are the best and they sell the same thing here, not a fan of T-connectors, I had to put a different wire on the one I connected to them to get to prevent the wire from slipping off, good tip here by the way. From now…

Adequate but not great

I have used them to connect to my RV's 12 volt wiring to add extra lighting. I found that my grounded soldering iron shorted 12V to ground so I couldn't solder directly to the wiring, which would have been my first choice. The paddle contacts are pressed against the body after crimping, and I had to fold them in half. 20GA wire in red connectors to secure crimp. I'm not sure if my crimping tool isn't compatible with them, but it works with standard quick connectors. The connectors are designed…

Really like them

I like the idea of these little connectors. I completely rebuilt the bike to give to a PTSD veteran (ML Gratitude on FB). As a result, some cranes were located in hard-to-reach places. At these points it was difficult to clamp the joint together. In other cases, the wire/connector was difficult to insert into the faucet. In general, I like these small taps in easily accessible places. Maybe if I practice with them I'll make them work better. Oops, I forgot. After using one of these connections…

Disappointing. on the subject of lighting and electronics

I'm not a fan of this at all, firstly the clamp (even using legal wire clamps) doesn't hold the wires securely or provide a secure fit The wires slip out too easily (was about 4- 6 times). Crimping the wires will cause the plug adapter to twist and turn every time. This makes it very difficult to insert the plug into the socket insert. This caused a lot of headaches because it meant there was no metal-to-metal contact which gave no electrical signal and forced me to spend hours checking the…
