Almost a year has passed since the installation and it still works.

Only had to clean once and no problem. I noticed that some other reviews said they couldn't tighten the hose on the hose so thought I'd post a photo of the one I installed. This should be self-explanatory, but for less savvy people, don't remove the knobs from the diffuser. Instead, tighten towards the main body and then place the tubing you wish to use onto the sleeve. Then tighten the handles (from the main body) on the hose. I'll buy a second one just because I know it won't last forever.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Much better than any tank diffuser

Bought this to try after trying a few typical ceramic tank diffusers. I can only say wow. I fire 1-2 bubbles per second in my 30g (compared to 4-6 to keep the same level) and sometimes even have to reduce it to one to keep the CO2 levels from getting too high. Also, on the bubble count I did, the CO2 seems to reach 100% dissolution before it leaves my spout as no bubbles are being blown into the reservoir. I would also like to point out that I had a few questions about the product and contacted

Works well - when it works

After two terrible floods caused by back pressure due to clogged ceramic pores, I reconnected this unit underwater to the Fluval 407 outlet (photo). While not as close to the external filter as recommended, flooding is a disaster. I have well water which after six weeks has led to a mineral build up. Prepare for regular maintenance of this device. Cleaning is a chore because there is no access to pottery. I soaked it in a 1/3 bleach solution overnight, scrubbed gently with a bottle brush, thenโ€ฆ

Much better than glass CO2 diffusers

This diffuser only works with an external filter. You cut the drain hose and insert the device so that it is in line with the return. It is best next to the external filter so that the microbubbles can dissolve even more. As you walk in the water, you can barely see the fine mist, which appears much smaller than the bubbles emerging from these cup-shaped glass diffusers. . I have an Eheim Classic 2213 external filter and the 12/16mm fits perfectly. In my setup it lasted about 5 months before Iโ€ฆ

Works as advertised - Updated

See first review below I used it for 4 months on the 29 gallons, upgraded to 75 gallons and it works just as well as it did 9 months ago when I installed it. I recently ordered a second unit so I can clean the first atomizer and have a continuous CO2 dispersion. fresh water and about 10 times the amount of dechlorinator you would normally use. Rinse well, if it smells like bleach, repeat the process. Original: I use this on a Fluval 406 canister filter. After the first few days the bubbles were

Works surprisingly well

Due to its compact size, j was a bit doubtful that it would actually work and that it would be leakproof. And it definitely works well. The CO2 coming out of my exit line is very good. The performance of my filter also helps circulate carbon dioxide throughout the aquarium. As a result, less CO2 is required. Just a minor inconvenience. Which might also help in a weird way, if so. If you install this device with the CO2 inlet facing down, water will seep into the chamber and block the CO2 inlet.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

So far it works very well.

I've been using this product for about a week. I bought this diffuser to replace a glass tank diffuser I bought a while back before I had a canister filter. IMHO, the less gear in the tank, the better in terms of tank aesthetics. It is easy to install with the included CO2 and flow fittings. It produces a nice fine mist but I was hoping for full CO2 dissolution and no microbubbles in my aquarium as some users have reported with this product. I will say when I first installed the product I didโ€ฆ

No longer effective

I bought this hoping to minimize CO2 consumption in a 17g tank. I installed the diffuser as far away from the exhaust line as possible and it seemed to work fine at first, but it only lasted a couple of months. I've been going through CO2 very quickly over the last few months, mainly because I had to increase the flow with this diffuser to make it work properly. After a few months the diffuser stopped working and I had to turn my CO2 settings high to see any diffusion. Cons: If it actuallyโ€ฆ
