My husband and I like THICK smoothies (think sherbet). First smoothie maker wouldn’t pulverize the frozen fruit. Next blender succeeded, but with much annoying opening and manual redistribution of contents. Bought this Ninja. Loaded it up, hit PULSE 3 times, pushed BOWL and, after a few seconds, had a great smoothie. Yes, it is a bit louder than the first two options – small price to pay for quick, easy and perfect results. Simple to clean too. Definitely love it!

I love it! I never thought I would find a blender that suit all my needs. It not blends.but it also juices.along with a few other features as well. You can make smoothies, ice cream, soups, and dips.

This thing is a beast! With others they would not grind up small seeds like in black berries or raspberries but this ninja does the best job of a smoothie appliance in this price range. While it’s not perfect (nothing is) the seeds are almost unnoticeable. I purchased the coffee grinder attachment and it too does a great job.Only downside is the noise … it’s really loud, but then it’s doing what it’s supposed to do.

I have a family member with major health problems associated with his digestive system. We were thinking smoothies would be a good way to give him the nutrition he needs, so I started shopping. This smoothie maker is excellent! I make 8-10 smoothies every day. It never falters, doesn’t jam, and does an excellent job . It can blend anything, I love the smaller cups, and the automated settings are fantastic. Use daily for smoothies and shakes. Perfect!. It is chainsaw loud.

Been needing a new blender for a while, and kept thinking I should save up for a vitamix. And I'm sure Vitamix purists will say I should have. But on say for $140, this blender is AMAZING and everything I could want. The presets work great, the volume is awesome, and cleaning is way easier than any other blender I've used. I've used it for pumpkin soup, smoothies, and a little food processing. I have literally zero complaints.

Amazing power after burning out a lesser one from another brand. Ice cubes, frozen fruit, everything you reasonably want in your smoothie is done right.

This blender is first off very high quality built and very nice looking, as well as suction cups on the bottom to help it not slide off the counter. Compared to the Nutribullet, this thing rocks! The 1200W makes a huge difference over 900W and does not struggle with much at all. This product does not disappoint. It’s strong and cleans up well. As noted, it is a little on the noisy side - but for me that’s no big deal as it’s only running a minute or two. I find myself choosing the ninja over my vitamix for small jobs as cleanup is so fast. Definitely worth the asking price.

The Ninja SS101 is a beaast. I tried using my son's Blend Jet 2 and that thing was an absolute flop (now I know why he gave it to me😊).If you want super smooth smooties made by a blender that can chop up ice, nuts, frozen fruit and greens with ease, by this blender. I will say, that due to it's power it's loud. which means it's doing it's job VERY well. Ninja made a smoothie blender stronger then my full size Oyster blender.

So far I have used the large cup for smoothies using frozen fruits and the large blender container for blending water with vegetable scraps, paper towel tubes, unbleached coffee filters, used coffee granules for my garden compost. This blender is very powerful and I am very happy with this purchase.

We loved this product. I can’t seem to get ahold of anyone be on the chat to get the issue fixed. Yesterday i made a smoothie and noticed it smelling. Didn’t pay any attention to it. Today it smelled worse after making a smoothing. The plastic around the blender part is completely burnt and starting to melt. The metal was smoking and hot to the touch. It’s right around a year old.I’ll come back and update if the issue gets resolved with Ninja.

Upgraded my bullet blender and it’s much stronger. I like how it automatically changes speed to make sure all the ice is blended smoothly.

I just made my first smoothie. It is fantastic. The blender is pretty powerful and excellent. The downside is it woke up my kids from their slumber upstairs.
