Good looking. Works well for smoothies, bowls, juices.

If you want something solely for smoothies, smoothie bowls, and extractions (not sure what it's called, but liquefying the heck out of fruits and veggies), get it. If you need to blend more than small amounts, go for a larger one. I'm in the former camp and love it. It has a small footprint and is the only appliance I have that is small enough, that I use enough, and the looks good enough to keep on my counter. All other appliances go in the cupboards when not in use.As others note, it is loud…

Pros
  • Small Appliances
Cons
  • Creates a lot of heat, making drinks warm rather than chilled

Love, hate… on my review.

Blender itself is awesome, blends shakes really well and the bowls come out great…. but, this thing should come with a free set of ear plugs, because it is extremely loud. So loud that I’m thinking of returning it, but it blends great so if I can find something quieter with this blending power that would be perfect. Note… I mainly use it for protein shakes with frozen fruit. I’ve also added nuts and oatmeal and it blends those down easily.

Pros
  • Powerful 1200W motor for efficient blending and extraction
Cons
  • Creates too much noise for early morning use

I finally found my perfect blender…

TLDR: this blender is comparable to a Vitamix E310 in terms of blend quality, and is in some ways easier to use. Read below for my smoothie journey and how I settled on this being my preferred blender.I’ve used a couple of different blenders over the last couple years, including a Vitamix E310, a magic bullet and a nutribullet. The Vitamix was great, but just too big for my needs. I normally make single serve smoothies/bowls for just myself, and don’t require a super large container to make…

Pros
  • WHAT’S INCLUDED: 1200-Peak-Watt Motor Base, Hybrid Edge Blades, (2) 24-oz. Ninja Nutrient Extraction Cups with Spout Lids, (1) 14-oz. Ninja Foodi Smoothie Bowl Maker with Storage Lid, and Recipe Inspiration Guide.
Cons
  • The blade is difficult to remove and replace

So far so good - my new review

I have been using this blender over one year, and I can say this product does its job so well! Definitely worth the price. Creates foam in smoothies which alters the taste and texture.

Pros
  • THICK SMOOTHIE BOWLS: 14-oz. Smoothie Bowl Maker with built-in tamper blends and powers through frozen foods with less liquid for perfectly thick smoothie bowls, nut butters, and blender ice cream.
Cons
  • Creates foam in smoothies which alters the taste and texture

Best Smoothie Maker I've Ever Had

I've had several smoothie makers over the years (including another Ninja!) and this product is BY FAR the best. I absolutely love it!It takes up next to no room on the counter, which is great for me because I have no space to spare. The best feature, to me, is the fact that it pauses periodically when it blends so that it doesn't burn out the blades while trying to cut through frozen fruit.I've only used the bowl feature a couple of times, but it blended up the fruit nice and thick and made for

Pros
  • EASY-TO-CLEAN: Easy-to-clean base and blender with dishwasher safe parts.
Cons
  • Lacks enough power for making nut butters or doughs
