STILL USE MINE!

Only bummer is the new ones are out now, Nintendo doesn't support these old ones anymore but I've had a blast with my game over the years! I'm looking for a newer version so I can continue using Street Pass. It's fun to gather friends and play MiiVerse with them! Love the ability to use expandable micro SD cards to store games, the store also has a ton of fun games to choose from. The console turned out to be very durable, there are a lot of accessories for it, and I don't want to give it up…

Tested for two years

Pros: Possibly the best handheld console Nintendo has released since the GameBoy Color. Battery life is pretty good, the screen is big enough without making the console bulky, the buttons give nice feedback, the ability to toggle 3D on and off is great, and the game selection isn't too shabby. Cons: The left and right bumper buttons are exposed to the point where, if you're not careful, you could snap from them if you drop the system from chest height. The 3D slider can break fairly easily, and

It supports older DS games.

What do I like? Large screen, fun and easy-to-use interface (blow on the mic while hovering over the icon in the menu and the icon will rotate), backwards compatibility with older DS games (thanks for playing Pokemon Platinum again). was allowed, and overall it's just a damn good handheld system, no wonder Nintendo, which I don't like The memory card you get with the game is pretty small, so if you're downloading digital versions it'll only fit in one Game. Another thing I don't like It's that…

3DS XL is simply amazing! You will not regret this purchase

If you have a previous DS console or are looking to buy your first this is the right place for you! 3DS XL is simply amazing! You will not regret this purchase. This pocket computer is perfect! I was so attached to my DSi (I thought nothing could replace it) my husband bought a 3DS it was just ah I mean it was cool and all I wasn't jealous he had it lol and still prefer it my DSi. Then my husband bought a LE Pikachu 3DS XL, I was blown away, it's so much more than I ever expected. I love…

The Handheld Gaming King

The 3DS is overpriced and doesn't have enough good games. Two hardware upgrades and two and a half years later, the 3DS is an incredible gaming platform. Of the three versions of the system (2DS, 3DS and 3DSXL), XL is by far the best choice for gamers who want to get the most out of the 3DS. The obvious difference between the original and the XL is the screen size, but one of the best improvements over the original is the form factor. The original 3DS is ugly and leaves fingerprints thanks to…

Great portable console with a few caveats

I bought my 3DS because I spend almost three hours every day commuting to work, bus and subway and I'm happy with it my decision. I almost bought a 2DS but ended up using it for a bigger screen and I'm very glad I did. Build quality is excellent and after a few months of use it still feels as solid as day one. The controls are really good, but as many other people have said, your hands can start to hurt after a long gaming session. This isn't a problem for me as I usually don't play for more…

Pros
  • Best in its niche

  • I vaguely remember

Great portable system with some weaknesses

So far I am very happy with my Nintendo 3DS XL. I'd say everything about it is great except for the following flaws: The 3D effect is very finicky. You can get this to work as long as you're seated in one position and willing to play around with the device's position to make sure everything lines up that way. Then the magic happens and the 3D works, which is great as long as you don't move. General. If you reach for a snack or drink, or turn your head as soon as you focus on the device again…

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Quick start guide
