There's no point in charging the lanterns. Load slowly.

Charging the light bulb makes no sense: Red = charging. Off = not charging, which may indicate the joystick is loose or fully charged. It is very important to be able to distinguish between fully charged and fully discharged but not fully connected. Also, some partially charged joysticks charged all night and stayed red in the morning. Doesn't seem to charge well either. Replace it with: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01MR6JD1M.

Great charger but plug into wall outlet for best performance.

This charger is great for keeping joysticks charged. It has a weighted base that provides a comfortable feel when inserting and removing controllers. The charge indicator LEDs also work great. I keep it in my living room next to the console and it keeps my four joycons ready for anyone who wants to jump. Others have complained of inconsistent charging when docked, but if you just plug it into the wall with the power adapter you won't have any problems.

Quality and design Hori

This officially licensed Joy-Con controller charger from Switch supports up to four Joy-Con controllers at once. I got this before Mario Party because I bought a different set of Joy-Cons and had to charge up to four at a time with no issues. Charge indicators make it easy to see which controllers need a little more juice, but they're not too bright to distract when part of a home entertainment setup. The sliding mechanism is very smooth and makes it easy to attach and remove controllers. Itsโ€ฆ

bill me! Best in battery and charger category

This gets the job done without compromise. anyway all the time since all these things do sit and charge. It's also light, which is normal for a machine of this type. The ONLY thing I don't like is that the end is USB so you can plug it in anywhere, the cable is VERY short - 22 inches or 1.8 feet or 55.8 cm. So be careful and place it very well where you want to put this charging station. Overall I like this charging station. I see no need to buy or try another. It charges at a good speedโ€ฆ

Easy to put on, just as easy to take off

I've been using the HORI Joy-Con charger for about two weeks now and couldn't be more impressed. The connection is made directly on the back of the switch to one of the USB ports (see photo). Cons Joy is easy to put on and take off, it doesn't use the clip system that all Nintendo products use which drives everyone crazy at times trying to undo the wrist strap to reattach the joycon to the console or charger can be - graaaaa. *clears throat* The stand also indicates if the Joy-Con is chargingโ€ฆ

So far so good with Nintendo Switch

There are many chargers for Switch controllers. It wasn't the most brilliant or the coolest game, but it was officially licensed by Nintendo. In recent years, buying third-party controllers and non-gaming systems has made me more cautious about investing in them. I think this charging station was probably $10 more expensive than many others, but the official license gave me confidence. I look good, complements the Nintendo dock and gets the controllers going. Take the adapter, plug it into the wall - NOT the docking station

I've been using it for a few weeks now and am very satisfied. I have 3-4 pairs of Joy-Cons so it's nice to keep them all charged together. The build quality is really good and there is no locking mechanism. Joy-Cons slide in and out. The red indicator will light up when they are charging and go out when not. There is no power outlet included, but they charge via a non-detachable USB cable. The cable is short, so it's obviously designed to connect to the Switch dock. Here's the kicker: untilโ€ฆ
