Good curling sponge! Adds great tweets to existing curls, although I wish there was a tighter pattern with more holes. This product works best on coarse hair with tight curls and short lengths, but it also works well on medium or mixed hair. With straight hair, you need to reach curl length before you see results.

My friend's GP told him that this product had very serious safety issues because the product was made from a very cheap chemical ingredient that causes allergies and infections! Attention buyers!

I was also hoping for it from other reviews. But unfortunately everyone was right. They break easily leaving little bits of foam in my son's hair. Unfortunately they don't deliver. I gave it 2 stars because it made his hair frizzy and because other reviewers tried to warn me. Don't waste money.

Bought at my teenage son's request. He was trying hairstyles and came across this article to help with a growing top but pointy sides. He actually wore the hair in waves close to the scalp, but used this to lift and twist the top of the hair to create a ruffled curl. With this sponge he successfully wore both styles.
