LCD with Bonded Ribbon for 2004-2006 Nissan Quest Speedometer Cluster - Enhanced Display Performance Review

This has got to be the easiest part of the instrument cluster I've ever had to replace. After we hooked everything up, my wife and I liked the replacement better than the factory display.

Disassembly of the housing mechanism was more difficult than installation. The screen is better than ever. Before and after photos are attached. I no longer need it, but would buy it again if needed.

Worked great. I bought a Quest with an estimated 150,000 miles. Popped it in and found it was closer to 210,000 but the car drives great. Sometimes miles don't mean anything as long as they're saved. Great screen.

LCD screen showing engine temperature, mileage and fuel in tank. The strap is very thin, so do not bend it unnecessarily. After the installation it worked great. If you took your Quest to a dealer for this job, you would get a ridiculous bill. Save the package. You can do that yourself.

This works great as long as you have a Phillips head screwdriver, a small Allen key and a flat head screwdriver to pry the plastic open. You can do the job yourself, my plastic on the cluster was a bit dry and broke off a couple of tabs but now I can see my fuel gauge clearly. hp UpDate Make sure not to press the speed needle and needle too hard, it is not easy to move, just press to turn it on. I found some step by step videos on YouTube on installing the cluster because I didn't want to accidentally damage the unit. Installation was easy. The only tricky part was with the speedometer and tachometer needles, removing them and installing them in place. By watching the video before starting, I avoided all problems. Stopping and starting videos made it very easy.

After 420,000 miles the odometer, engine temp gauge and fuel gauge stopped working and had to be replaced. This product works and now we can read the mileage and engine temperature. and fuel levels. Advantages. If you have a basic knowledge of car interior repair and are comfortable in a computer then you should be able to do it as it takes less than an hour to do it yourself.
