Holds my Samsung Galaxy s5 very tight with the Caseology case. I've been using it for a month on my daily commute on paved roads with their many bumps and it stays where it should. I'm not afraid my phone will turn off. Strapping the phone on is definitely a two-handed operation to hold the phone on the HandleBand by pulling and hooking the top strap. The fit is so snug on my galaxy s5 that I would not recommend this for a phone with any width.

The price is right and this smartphone holder is easy to install. On my smaller Samsung phone, the strap that holds the phone in place wasn't very tight. However, I have never lost my phone from the holder. The strap covers part of the screen, making it difficult to use the touchscreen while driving. The holder also tends to slip and rotate a bit as the strap isn't very snug on the bike rack. But then again, the price was right and it's easy to use. It does the job.

Your phone won't drop, trust me. I used it with a Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ for mountain biking. The only downside is that the straps prevent you from fully touching the phone when it's in the strap.
