Stive's vanilla shower gel has become a nightmare because it's no longer made and people seem to be hoarding it to fool those who liked it. Given that 3 bottles cost $30 I decided to try vanilla flavored Nevia. It serves its purpose as a shower gel, but the vanilla smell is very chemical and, unlike fragrances, does not last very long on the skin. Live and learn, next time I'll try Dove Vanilla. Maybe other Nevia products are better but this product is a disappointment.

Definitely not what I expected. I bought it thinking it would be a sweet vanilla scent but it's not at all. I wouldn't even say it smells like anything like vanilla just smelling the soap without knowing its name. It's actually more powdery than sweet or woody. I was so happy to see this new vanilla shower gel as Suave has discontinued their wonderful vanilla shower gel. DO NOT buy this Nivea cleaner if you expect vanilla scent. It smells STRONG of floral perfume. As soon as I opened the lid, I realized I couldn't use it. I like Nivea products but this one is not as advertised.

I love this scent! I've never liked the smell of vanilla, but this one is really delicious and almost honey-scented to me. It's a strong smell, probably stronger than other scents I've tried (botanical flower) but I like to go to bed and still feel it on my body. It appears to be a bit more moisturizing than floral. I love this product, makes my (men's) skin soft and clean. Now the smell isn't bad, it's pleasant enough, personally I was just hoping for more desert vanilla flavor I guess. But there's nothing wrong with the product itself, anyway it's my fault for expecting otherwise.

I'm not a scent fan: slightly repulsive chemical odor, not reminiscent of vanilla at all. It lathers well but doesn't moisturize very much and is very difficult to wash off. If you don't rinse and rub this stuff off your body very thoroughly, it will irritate your skin and cause severe itching. Used a few times then tossed in the trash. It's just not for me. Instead, I recommend "Avon Senses Silky Vanilla": It smells wonderful and is good for the skin.

I bought this for my teenage daughter who suffers from mild eczema. This keeps her skin moisturized and hydrated. This is a nice thick, creamy and velvety shower gel. The scent is AMAZING. This is a wonderful blend of vanilla and coconut that is suitable for everyone, regardless of gender. This is a great purchase for daily personal hygiene. I highly recommend it.
