These spoons are much more elegant than traditional soup spoons. These are either large teaspoons or slightly smaller tablespoons. They contain just the right amount of liquid for a satisfying sip.

Soup ran down my chin when I used it. At first I thought it was my fault, but I tried other spoons (not "Asian") and this didn't happen. There must be a bowl that is too shallow or some other design factor

These spoons are the perfect size for wonton or pho, but they go with anything a spoon can be used for. Due to the depth of the spoon, they can also be used as a small spoon. They fit well in the hand and have a pleasant weight.

They arrived on time and were VERY well packaged to avoid damage. They are AMAZING quality for the price. Simple but elegant, with good weight. As some have said, they're a bit big, but considering I use them for slurping up ramen and miso soups, they work great.

This product is exactly what I want. I was looking for a medium sized spoon like this - I can use it for noodle soup and occasionally as a general purpose spoon for tofu or hot pot cooking. The handle design is great for hanging over the rim of the bowl. The packaging is really protective to avoid damage. This is a good product that I would recommend. =

Very nice and smooth, I keep it in a jar on the counter so as not to break it. NOT flimsy and fragile mind you. They wash very well in the dishwasher only in the cutlery basket, as they can fall through the dish rack. (Obviously the husband doesn't think so, and I caught it in time.) I can't get over how huge the scoop is, but of course you don't put everything in your mouth! And definitely not meant to stir your coffee! LAUGH OUT LOUD!

I love her! I've always enjoyed using them to make clear soups at Hibatchi restaurants. I recently learned how to make miyabi soup at home and it wasn't like that with a standard spoon. Since I generally love soups and cook them often, I decided on this one. I love them, they are good quality and don't slip in the bowl. Holds enough broth or soup. Easy to clean. Durable spoons that will last a very long time with proper care.
