- When you hesitate, it's all about the curvature of the spoon tip so it doesn't slip into the big bowl. I love this feature! I want to have a few more of these for parties and house guests - If you cook a lot of soup or stew this set is a must have. The surface of the spoon is deep and wide. It can hold a lot of content. Excellent value for money and quality. Suitable for the oven and microwave and works great for me. Doesn't transfer heat to my fingers when coming out of hot soup. - I'm still not sure what the little hole on the spoon is for, I think it increases grip. But it fits perfectly in my hand and feels great. Overall I am very happy with this set. also came in nice packaging
