I've tried it and the spray is definitely bitter; However, my very talkative year-old pit bull was not at all embarrassed. I think something more acidic and not bitter might be more effective.

This product is slightly oily and stays as it should. If you spray it on sofa armrests, be sure to wash your hands before eating things like chips. The taste is something I can't explain.

I bought this product because my puppy chewed on my carpets, baseboards and furniture. I sprayed it fairly liberally on all items and I could "taste" it and it was very uncomfortable. I see from other reviews this has worked for others but my pup just licked it off and kept chewing. I'm not that lucky.

I was hoping this would help raise two kittens but they clawed and chewed on anything I sprayed! The spray also fires in a single jet, making it difficult to cover surfaces or other areas like wires. I really wanted it to work but it didn't seem to affect any of them. It's very expensive for what it is so I'm sending it back for a refund!
