LOVE the refill option for her! I bought a full floss in a glass jar for Christmas stockings and it was a hit but we all felt bad for wasting the jar. Then I found gas stations. I ordered this at first by mistake thinking it was the ones in the jar. I decided to try it anyway and found it tasted bad and was too thick for my teeth. He even ripped off the crown, which had to be re-glued. I sent it back.

My gums were in pretty good shape anyway, but just after a 6 month cleaning at the dentist my levels are even slightly better than before. (With the measuring tool they use to measure periodontal problems. Where 1 and 2 are really good, 3 is fine, but when you get to 4 there is some gum/periodontal problems.) Although these zero-waste, ethical replacement floss heads are a bit pricey, I love them. This floss removes more dirt from my teeth than any other floss I've tried. Maybe it will help prevent tooth decay, which I'm prone to. I may have had cavities because the "regular" thread just didn't work. I love this stuff. Also, the little bag they come in is a compostable plastic bag.

I've never liked dental floss. Until I tried this thread. Now I'm hooked! Now I brush my teeth three times a day! Serious! It doesn't break, break or get stuck between my teeth like any other floss I've ever tried. Since it's black, you can really see if you're getting results. I also like that it doesn't contain any harmful ingredients like some other yarns. This is a healthy choice. I will never use anything else!

If you have small crowns or veneers, this material will feel like it's being pulled out because it's so rough it gets stuck between your teeth.
