Heavy-duty group 24 battery box for 12-volt marine, RV, boat, and trailer batteries. Features patented locking tabs to fasten the lid to the base securely and reinforced handles to prevent cracking during relocation. Built for rugged environments with an impact resistance down to minus 20-degrees Fahrenheit, and unaffected by acid, gas, oil, as well as, UV exposure. Limits battery movement and protects against accidental shorting of battery terminals, as well as, collects battery acid and allows adequate ventilation. Certified and tested to meet United States Coast guard (USCG) code of Federal regulations 183. 420, American boat and yacht Council (ABYC) E-10. 7 specifications, and frustration-free packaging.

Very nice box, not big at all.

I love the build quality of this box and it fits my car battery perfectly. It came with straps and screws. I'm not sure if it should come with a battery case though, but what I have now is that the battery is right in the box itself. I still love this box and would recommend it to anyone and the price is reasonable too. I see where the other person wrote that he has all six (6) battery cases in his box and I would really like to know why I didn't receive mine. Hence I deducted a star. Despite…

Smart and user-friendly design

I bought this model to add another Group 24 unit to my trailer. The box works well, has room for the wires to come out easily and as I was limited on space it allows for easy modification. I had to remove the finger grip on one end of each box to fit in the area I had. They were easily torn off with a handsaw, did not make holes in the box itself, and greatly simplified the work. Bottom line, this is a quality box that does what it's supposed to do. One problem I have is that the tape that…

I would like the dimensions to be accurately described

Everything is ok, it's a good box and I'm sure a group 24 battery will fit very well, but I was referring to the published dimensions and assuming my two golf cart batteries would fit nearby. But that's not the case. Can't tell from the photos or description but this box is tapered top to bottom so my two batteries fit snugly at the top where they measure as advertised but about 3/4 of the way down they get stuck and reach the bottom Not. My batteries aren't as big as Group 24 so I'm just going
