I think I got the wrong advice and thought you should measure 2 inches (in waist measurement) above your waistband with belts. I wear 34W pants and ordered a 36W inch belt. So if you order this belt and want to make it longer, order two SIZES larger than your pant size, ie if you wear 34" pants, order a 38" belt.
