I want to give these lamps zero stars.

Too bad I can't give these lanterns zero stars. I've bought five sets so far because they're "best sellers". And now I have to pluck four strings. They should make these lights more reliable.

Pros
  • Hands-free operation
Cons
  • Coefficient set

I bought a repackaged product from NOMA/INLITEN-IMPORT. ABOUT 1/3.

I bought a repackaged product from NOMA/INLITEN-IMPORT. ABOUT 1/3 OR MORE of the bulbs were missing, most looking blown as evidenced by the blackened interior of the bulbs. It helped us get through the holidays but I wouldn't buy it again. We could buy 100 GE rows locally for less than $5 and add the same number of lights.

Pros
  • Availability
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

Inaccurate description, but it works!

Specified Product Specifications: Holiday Wonderland 3 x 100 Lights Clear String Lights Set. It was actually 2 x 150 bulbs, not that many but I was hoping to only use 2 strands of 100 bulbs for 200, not all 300. My Christmas tree still looks lovely, I had to re-wrap them as the garland was too long so removing it would be a bit annoying. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars. Seems to be a high quality light.

Pros
  • Free for Educational Purposes
Cons
  • Easily Repairable

Excellent long lasting Christmas lights

I've been using these lights for at least five years and not a single bulb has burned out - this is my third order - although I have them with a dimmer so don't run at full brightness. The 300 lamp set is actually two strings of 150 lamps that are linked together, making it much easier to string onto wood. And each strand is tied into bundles of 50 bulbs, so I finally figured out that the best way to thread them is to untie them one by one so you don't get tangled in the 150 bulb string when…

Good durable Christmas garlands

Great garlands for the price. We usually have to replace our Christmas lights every year, so I hope we live longer than a year. Works great so far! Love the length of the strands - we used 3 boxes (each box contains 2 light strands) for our 9-10 foot tree, but an extra box could probably be used. All threads have been working great for the last 3 weeks and we always have our Christmas tree connected. You can only connect 3 strands together at a time, so remember - if you use more than 3…

  • This is amazing

This might be the worst purchase I've ever made

This might be the worst purchase I've ever made. I ordered 10 boxes of these lights to hang on the trees near our house. While each string of lights worked before they were placed on the trees (I tested them before stringing them up), they began to dim shortly after being attached to the trees. In the beginning it was a strand. The next day it was two or three. I've tried everything to fix it including replacing the bulbs, getting rid of the bad string of lights etc. Within two weeks ALL THE…

Just finished 3rd set - not a good price

I wrote this review after completing my 3rd set of these glasses in less than a few months. One set didn't work from the start - the other two failed after a few months. I suspect the following can happen: These aren't LEDs. So if one bulb burns out, the entire chain burns out. I have them along a bunch of high fences and it is very difficult to determine which bulb has burned out as it is difficult to get to it, but I don't think that after replacing one bulb, another after one does not burn…

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

"Ornaments of the dead, on a green Christmas tree. "

2/5 stars because so many lights work consistently. They all worked in test mode until they actually *were* at the Christmas tree. Once on the tree, long stretches of both threads began shorting and disconnecting. I'm afraid to leave it unattended. I used a securely grounded extension cord, connected one strand to the other, didn't pull or stretch them as they were placed on the tree (I had two people to prevent natural pull from gravity), and wrapped them lightly around the branches . It seems

Pros
  • There's something to it
Cons
  • Minor problems
