Works in every bottle so far.

I use them for bottling mead and country wine. They seem to work well in my "hand capper" and fit in every wine bottle I've used. There are no complaints about the product itself. The packaging was a little missing but that didn't change the game, just be careful when opening it or you'll look for it everywhere. giggle

Pros
  • High test results for hold and shelf life
Cons
  • Almost everything included

Rubber is good, bark is BAD!

I ordered them twice. The first bag consisted of hard rubber stoppers. (Five stars for them). They worked great. So I ordered another bag. They looked like regular plugs so I figured they would work. Six out of twenty-five bottles leaked right through the cork! Even when uncorking the bottles, 9 out of 10 split in half! If you don't get the gummies, SEND THEM BACK!

Pros
  • Dope 🔥
Cons
  • Good but not great

Used for 1 3/4 inch diameter natural corks. No .

Used for 1 3/4" natural corks. Not sure how they would work but has been suggested for longer wine storage. Updated 4/26/18. These corks are smaller in diameter than standard Wooden corks #9 and fits freely in bottle They are straighter with cork size #8 I wouldn't buy again Contacted Quick Ship Co. and they said they only sell Nomacork #9 Is the diameter too small?

Pros
  • Special Offer
Cons
  • Update Availability

Great product, bad packaging.

I have bought these caps before, they are great. The packaging isn't great. The last batch I bought was opened in an envelope and when I opened it they were everywhere. I didn't want to bother with sending them back so I spent an extra hour cleaning and sanitizing each one. I will probably buy again as I like corks but wish the seller had packaged them better so this doesn't happen again.

Pros
  • One year trial
Cons
  • Too long to wait

These are not genuine #9 corks

When I received them I noticed these are not genuine #9 corks. diameter slightly smaller than No. 9; rather #8. This makes them very light. I don't know how long you can bottle them, but I don't think longer than 2 years. For this reason, I use them in my quick drink wines. Wines that I expect to be drunk less than a year after bottling. By the way, on the Nomacorc website you will not find any information about these traffic jams. They have various plugs with ratings and based on what I saw…

Pros
  • Not just useful for its intended purpose
Cons
  • Something is wrong

Works well with a manual capper

I chose #9 to ensure a good bottle seal. I used them with a Chinese hand capper that fell off the back of a boat which I also got here from Amazon. I placed them in a bowl of sanitized water and pulled out the cork for each bottle. I used a random selection of recycled bottles that my friends collected for me and they suit each of them. I had no trouble capping #9 with a manual capper. The corks had small dimples and the depth was a bit inconsistent but I attribute this mainly to the cheap cork

Pros
  • A dream come true
Cons
  • Vulgarity

I bottle 3-6 cases of wine almost every month. I .

I bottle 3-6 cases of wine most months. I tried this cork because it is for wine that can be stored for more than 3-5 years. I've never had natural cork stoppers from bottles that I cork. 14 out of 30 bottles sealed with Normacorc synthetic wine closures partially erupted within 5 minutes and had to be resealed. I made sure the replacement caps were dry (no liquid sanitizer) and recapped the same bottles. These remained properly closed. This cork can work well when the bottle cap and cork are…

Pros
  • Acceptable
Cons
  • Not bad, but...

It worked the first time, not the second time

The supplier does not seem to understand which corks he is actually sending. The first batch I received was correct. It was Nomacorc #9 Synthetics. The second batch I ordered had the correct packaging label, but they were inferior to the #8 agglomerate style. The label on the bag said #9 Synthetic. Hmmm. I sent the second bag back. I hope they do well next time. Synthetic Nomacorc is a great cork. I haven't had any problems with them, they work well. The supplier just has to get the labels…

Pros
  • New to my collection
Cons
  • Can I add something?
