My 3 year old used a much larger booster seat. This is much nicer and allows you to slide the chairs under the table. It's thick foam with an easy-to-clean vinyl cover. My daughter can easily get in and out on her own. You need to make sure your chair is low enough for the small legs to fit under the table. Our table has an "apron" to keep it in place. The straps keep it secure. Easy to transport if necessary.

I didn't know what to think of this product when I first saw it. I like the ease of use. I've taken it to restaurants and used it at home and it's the right height to give my son the support he needs without feeling cramped or restricted in how he responds to our hard plastic sidewall booster. This unit works like a pedestal riser, attaching to any dining chair and giving your child that much needed extra inch to reach the table comfortably. It's easy to clean as it's housed in a leather case with a non-slip bottom so it doesn't really move when strapped to a chair. For our standard upholstered dining chair, it still has some room around and in front of the chair where it almost gives our little ones a 'step' so they can still climb onto the booster seat on their own.
