This adapter is just AWESOME. This allows me to use the FAST USBC SDHC card reader that I usually use with my Mac on my Dell Precision, which only occupied one USBC. The translation is limited to the maps I'm using, but it works great. I've also used it with an external USBC SSD. It's just as fast through the adapter as it is through the USBC port. Another great adapter for emergencies.

This durable adapter will last you a long time. Files and videos are transferred quickly and without noticeable delays. It works well with all my computer accessories, tablets, laptops and desktops. I highly recommend it and will keep an extra in my trip computer pack. Not only is it capable of transferring files with this adapter, but it also works well when plugged in.

Bought this to use occasionally with my Mac connected to the StarTech.com docking station. It stopped working after several uses within 4 months (purchased on March 20th). The existing cable works fine with my other laptop, so I know the adapter is the problem. I'm not sure at the moment how to request a refund or replacement but if the company sees this please contact me and I'll be happy to change the rating.

I don't really need it at the moment, there were times in the past when I needed it. Although I really like the feel and functionality. I'm sure when I ordered this the picture showed there were two in the package. The one that came was the only one in the box. When I checked the site again, there were fewer images. Spring.
