This crusher smelled terribly of dry cloth or some kind of perfume. Washed several times but the smell hasn't gone away. Returned.

Matit excellent. After a few washes in the dishwasher, the glue holding the top and bottom together melted and the top and bottom came loose.

Long sought (must be grown up, who cares about a potato masher anymore?). I have a couple of metal pushers but I can't use them in nonstick pans, they also tend to bend pretty easily. This allows me to use it in any pot or pan and it keeps its shape.

We tried different potato mashers. All were difficult to handle because the potatoes would get stuck in the grinder and be difficult to peel. This is the best we've tried. It might not be a big deal on the scales of life, but this press rammer is the most frustration-free we've ever used.
