🌬️ Black Side Vent Refrigerator by Norcold Inc. 621156BK Review

Had to return. I was trying to install it in a vintage (1992) motor home to replace a Norcold metal vent door. Unfortunately, while the length and height were fairly close, the corner radius was different. I would have to cut the hole to make it fit. Also, the RV manufacturer cut a slightly larger hole, rendering this part unusable. If I could install it, I'm sure everything would be fine.

Who in their right mind would stick on a real naked product? This is nonsense. Someone else asked if the lid was shiny, it's not. It's matte black/maybe satin, but definitely not glossy. It comes with a rectangular bezel in case you need to replace the whole thing. It also has a few small scratches. I'm not very happy but it works and I need it. Sticker.God!

After 3 hours of trekking over rough terrain, we realized that our reference case had fallen. We made tape and a plastic lid and I ordered delivery from a nearby campsite. I thought I would just buy the door but it came with the door, frame and little plastic handles that hold the door closed. Everything we needed was there. Easy repair - just remove the screws on the outside edge of the frame and screw it in. Couldn't have asked for more!

We bought this to replace our existing Norco finish on our 2000 Fleetwood RV. It fits perfectly but the lid is bent and won't hold up when driving on the freeway. My husband secures it so it doesn't fly off the road. Also, it's matte black, which is good, but it scratches badly. There are also reviews from 2018 complaining about stickers right on the product. Come on, complaints about this for 3 years. Why put stickers directly on the front of a cosmetic item?!

I am a little disappointed with this vent cover. Although it fits the bottom tabs and the two top mounting tabs on my Norcold N611V RV fridge, it fits too snugly on the standard frame that is already fitted to my RV. Yes, the new vent cover came with a new frame, but I didn't want to remove the existing one and the putty around it, mount a new one and patch it again (major job). Only 4 stars for the same reasons as most. This piece is very scratched and on top of that even though it was sent in the box it was still covered in shipping labels!
