Great microwave popper

This is my fourth cereal maker and I obviously love it. My only complaint is that the lid starts to warp after six months of use, but other than that it's a great microwave popper.

Pros
  • New to my collection
Cons
  • Useless features

Eat every day!: Popcorn poppers

Have been using this bowl for a year or more, it's holding up well, we use it almost every day in the office. Just find out how long your microwave takes, it makes butter-free, fluffy popcorn that we think is way better than packaged microwave crap. We just add oil and salt after cooking. It's going to be hot so be careful.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel

Affordable popcorn with consistent quality

This simple bowl always makes the best popcorn I've ever made at home. Better than the popular brand of microwave popcorn, better than the few poppers I've used over the years, and better than the electric popcorn I've used and loved for years. And all this with cheap popcorn from the store.

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Not as good as it says it is

Popcorn Perfection for Popcorn Poppers

This is by far the best popcorn maker I have ever used. I've tried different brands of air poppers, swirl poppers, bag poppers, bowl poppers, etc. This does everything I need. Add grain, oil and salt to this popper and you're done. No mess, no grains flying around the kitchen, good oil evenly distributed rather than oil on the top grains and the rest dry. And with a lid, you can cook, eat, and store popcorn in this container. Neatly tucked away with other similar items, no cords or clutter…

Simple and easy way to make popcorn

I have been using this type of popcorn for almost 20 years. I recently bought a new one because I accidentally left popcorn unattended in the microwave for too long. Stupid misstake. I add a quarter cup of oil free popcorn and it pops great every time. Oil can be added but I don't need it. In the last few years I've counted 15 or 16 kernels that haven't cracked. Every microwave is unique, so watch out for slow pops, and if there's about two seconds or more between pops, it's time to stop before

My Top 10 in Popcorn Poppers

This is one of those products that I endlessly recommend or buy directly to others. It's in my top ten, maybe even my top 5 best buys of all time. See also: fuzzy logic rice cooker. i love popcorn Oil makes a mess and cleaning sucks. Air poppers make it stale and dry. Microwave bags are just junk food. This, in turn, makes perfect popcorn and retains enough steam to get big, fluffy kernels with all their flavor. Then I add what I want (my method is Olivio olive oil based spray (0 calories)…

Pros
  • Lots of positive vibes

  • too stupid

Nice but loose top

I had a version of the same product a few years before it wore out and this new replacement really isn't as good as the old one. First, the cap doesn't sit very well in the groove where it's intended; There's always a corner that sticks out a little. I'm not sure if the lid was slightly warped during shipping or if it was just made that way; It definitely feels more fragile/thinner than the lid on my previous one. In order to pop all the cores, I have to put it on for a little over 6 minutes…

Pros
  • Good workmanship
Cons
  • Something is wrong

I love this thing, the best. 4 stars only because this is my second after the first cracked but both had the same lid issue. The lid is not good, it deforms after the first use and does not hold, and the popcorn kernels knock it off. We need to put a small glass weight on it. But the BEST popcorn we've ever had. It has a clay base (after Scandinavian cookware) that gets very hot and stays hot for a few minutes after cooking, which I like because popcorn stays warm for a long time. You'll need…

A great alternative to store-bought microwave popcorn.

My husband didn't want a bulky air popper in his house. I don't like store-bought microwave popcorn (I'm sick). So I bought this one instead. I've used it three times so far. The instructions (I had to use the iPad's camera to read the tiny imprint) said to use 1/3 cup of kernels and optionally 1-2 TB of oil. The first time I used about 1 TB of oil. I cooked in the microwave for too long and some of the popcorn burned a bit. Most of it was still edible. It was good but not as big and fluffy as…

  • Finally bought
