Perfect if you have a French Press

I bought a French Press and when it came time was to clean them I used a large strainer. This method prevented the grounds from going down the drain (causing later clogging) but it was difficult to clean the large strainer. My method was to use the press with To fill water (after the pot is made and cooled) and pour out That's why I took this little guy, it's a lot easier to clean up after you've used it.

Pros
  • Dimensions: 6" x 2.5" x 1.5" / 15cm x 6cm x 4cm
Cons
  • Legacy

The perfect sieve: comfortable, durable and easy to clean.

I have 3 different sizes of these Norpro filters, the oldest is a few years old and strong. The stainless steel mesh is embedded in the plastic on the sides of the screen, so there are no corners and edges for materials to get stuck and cleaning (by hand or in the dishwasher) is easy. They are lightweight but strong enough to withstand significant spatula pressure when straining thicker mixes such as dried chilli sauces, fruit puree, rehydrated tamarind pulp, etc. These are my favorite filters.

Pros
  • stainless steel mesh. Frame and handle made of durable plastic.
Cons
  • Appearance

Great for matcha and on the go

These descriptions may NOT be in the order of the photos.#1. This strainer sits next to the #2 3-inch strainer. This strainer sits on top of a 3-inch top strainer in a 10-ounce drinking cup. #3. This is the sieve over the drinking cup. #4. This is the sieve over the chawan. #5. The residue after sieving. #6. The depth of the bowl of this sieve. I needed a strainer to travel with, specifically for sifting matcha tea powder. The size is perfect, 2.5 inches, not too big and not too small. Easily…

Pros
  • Has 2 "sponges" on one side and a handle on the other side for easy placement on a bowl or pot.
Cons
  • Wrinkled packaging
