He didn't finish a bag of cherries before he fell apart in my hand. I put it back together but it wasn't the same anymore and kept falling apart.

This is my second jug in this style. I still had a 10 year old and it broke recently - I'm happy to have found the same one and expect this new one to serve me well for 10 years. It's easy to use and easy to clean - simplicity at its best.

Easy to clean and stain free. You don't miss the pit pop, as some people say, unless you try to make it quick by pressing too hard. Good value for money. They are spring loaded so they open after each use.

4 stars! It arrived quickly and was easy to remove from the packaging. It went straight to work, separating some cherries for a late-night snack. It would be easier if I read the instructions first. Put the cherry right and it's very easy. Sideways and it gets a little messy. So, do it right and everything will work out! One star deducted because even with proper use it's a little dirty with cherry juice stains here and there. good item.

I bought this so I can carve cherries for my kids who can eat the whole pack in one sitting. Before I got this, I had to take out each bone by hand before giving it to my little one so he wouldn't choke. It's amazing - the pit is removed 99% of the time, leaving most if not all of the cherry pulp intact. It's so easy to use and saves a lot of time, not to mention it looks neater. Even my 3 year old daughter learned how to use it and now she goes to pit stops herself!

I bought a box of cherries and thought it would be enough to buy a stone. My mom had a Spring Plunge type and I think that's what I'll be looking for when this one breaks. Extruding the bones with these scissors is tricky and hard on the hands (and I'm not even 30!). Not only that, the plastic part that ejects the pit from the fruit was bent after the pit was removed from a crate of cherries! I used to like a few Norpro products but I won't buy this one again or recommend it to my friends.

I don't usually like disposable tools, but I bought this one because my little son only eats whole cherries (when I cut them, they're "broken" ). and will not spit out holes. They are very easy to use - just place the fruit on the base and close the scissors to remove the pit.
