This is a thermometer that can be calibrated. The silicone handle means you can leave it in the oven or grill for a minute or two and pull it out without incident.

Great for the "quick cook" and "banquet cook". The silicone grip is the main reason I bought one, there are actually 3 as I multitask a lot! Can cling to food and leave and remove easily without burning yourself. That's why the handle makes life so much easier. I wouldn't recommend leaving it in the food while it's cooking, but they give a little extra time for the food to move quickly and come out perfect.
