Review on 🔴 Norpro 5970 Soft Grip Silicone Instant Read Thermometer: Reliable Red EA Product by Bill Wasson

Great for the "quick cook" and "banquet cook". The silicone grip is the main reason I bought one, there are actually 3 as I multitask a lot! Can cling to food and leave and remove easily without burning yourself. That's why the handle makes life so much easier. I wouldn't recommend leaving it in the food while it's cooking, but they give a little extra time for the food to move quickly and come out perfect. I also chose red because colleagues use blue sysco thermometers which I can keep and other employees are jealous. Temperature measurement is pretty fast, certainly faster than the blue Sysco. The holder also prevents the thermometer from falling out like on the Sysco. I wear a chef coat and the sysco shows up all the time, but this nopro is always there when I need it! I find digital readings a bit quicker, not abuse tolerant, this thermometer is also adjustable but you need a wrench for that. Hope this helps with your decision.
