I was hoping it was better than most based on the review I read from a pro. It's better done than some, but still hasn't put in as much work. It should line up perfectly and you still have work to do. It was easier and faster for me to clean by hand. Don't waste your money. This apple peeler/corer is exactly what I was looking for! This is the first car I own and I can't get enough! I like how it sticks to a hard surface so it's very stable and easy to use. The only problem I have is that sometimes when slicing, the slicer loosens and moves, causing the apple to start smashing. This should be resolved by tightening, but I'll admit it takes my husband's strength to get it tight enough. Overall, I'm very happy to have a great product at a great price!

In general, everything works fine. If you buy one, don't buy one of the more expensive ones and expect them to be better. Needed some parts but cheaper to buy a new knife. Purchased in July 2019 and used for the first time in November 2019. The new one we bought is smaller, lighter, the paring knife didn't pinch, the suction didn't stop. Nothing about the new item worked as well as the original old peeler. I bought my original knife from Apple Hill in Placerville, California in 2001. I would like to send a new one back, but it's too late. I'm glad I kept my original knife because it works 100% better.

This is an incredibly cool device. I do exactly what I have to do and I don't need electricity. It peels, cuts and removes the stone from apples, pears or other similar fruits.
