Large Small Foam Master

Glass Norpro Foam Master is a great little foam master! With this frother it is very easy to make a lot of coffee foam. I used to heat the milk first, but I've found that frothing the milk before heating it in the microwave works great! I pour cold milk below the level of the container (maybe 1/4 cup) and froth it for about 20 seconds before microwaving. Warm up for about 30 seconds and you'll get great results. Foam is enough for one or two shots of coffee, depending on how much foam you like.

Overall a great result! A great addition to your coffee world!

Bought this a few months ago to complement my mocha pot and really enjoyed using it. It is very sweet. While the results aren't as good as I can get from a professional espresso machine, they're as close as you can get. I usually fill to the max, pop it in the microwave for 40 seconds and immediately froth it up. I try not to hit the bottom when lathering, so I fill it up to the max. It provides a separate layer of thicker foam on top of the milk so you can use it for macchiato, cappuccino and…

Simply having fun is best in the kitchen and dining room

There are foods that are simply fun and this is definitely one of them. If you like a little froth on your coffee, cocoa or whatever, this is the way to go. When I first read the instructions I thought "This is impossible" but it wasn't. You just have to make sure the milk you use is ice cold or hot. You pour milk into the Froth Master up to the maximum mark on the side, put the lid on, swing the stem up and down with the handle on the lid for up to 40 seconds and voila! Foam! I bought an…

Big Brother! Suitable for milk frother

This frother is well made. It has a glass mug with a rubber bottom. The foam sieve is made of plastic. The jar has a "Max Fill" line for ease of use. You add your milk product - I've used 2.5% with excellent results - insert the plunger/cap assembly and run the plunger for 10-15 seconds, or until the milk volume has doubled. You can use this foam as is, or like I did, microwave it for about 30-60 seconds (depending on your microwave - don't overcook) to build up the volume and "set" the foam…

The best frothed milk you'll ever taste comes from a cappuccino snob

I grew up with cappuccino. My mother is very picky about her coffee, she ONLY likes espresso and crema. She says a real cappuccino has just that little bit of silky thick milk between the espresso and the froth. One thing I struggled with a lot when I had the espresso maker and milk steamer combo was that it could never produce "microfoam". (It's incredibly velvety thick foam, but not BIG BUBBLE foam, that's what latte art is made of.) This amazing little device lets you do just that. It's just
