An excellent choice. Sturdy

Big selection. Continuous. My daughter had the furniture delivered and I simply pointed the gate away from the stairs. Then they returned it when they did, no problem. I'm on the first step. I ordered a railing piece and it works great. I also ordered an extra panel which is very easy to install but I didn't need it. I'm thinking about ordering another gate to enter the room because it's really convenient and easy to move.

Not recommended for door gates and stair gates

There are two other gates in my house that are sold by other companies. My other gates are stronger and can be opened and closed with one hand. This gate feels very flimsy and the latch is difficult to operate. I use it to keep two older, incontinent dogs from walking around the house. As they are older I think this will do the trick. If I used it on energetic dogs or active toddlers, it definitely wouldn't work. Looks great when you just need more privacy protection.

Sturdy and Secure - Recommended

Child proof railings were needed to block two adjacent flights of stairs. one goes up and one goes down. Bought additional panels to expand it into a "D" shape to allow enough room to get in and out of the stairs. Followed the installation instructions and everything worked.
