These boots fit our daughter (6 years). I ordered size 13. She is currently a "perfect" size 12 so I ordered a size up to try and wear the boots longer. The boots were great though, kept her feet warm and dry in the snow, fully durable when playing in the snow and had no childish complaints. I was a little afraid to try them, but I dared. I saw how difficult it would be to put them on if the child has wide feet, but I took this into account and ordered a size slightly larger than my son (18 months) needs. It's a size 4 but almost a 5. I had thick smartwool socks so it fit perfectly. I did trial runs at home before the snow to get him used to the weight of the boots and he did great in the snow. He even liked to stomp in the snow.
