Just super, the product is made wonderfully, very satisfied.

After a long dropout, I settled on the dell g7 7790 model, i7-9750 processor, RTX 2060 video. I worried for a long time about the nonsense that many wrote here. Turned off the turbo boost in the bios, now the frequency is maximum 2.6, that's enough. But now the cooling fans turn on only when I start compiling a project or launching games. Surfing the Internet, programming in a virtual machine in Linux, watching movies - the fans are silent, it's very comfortable. Played Detroit at maximum…

Pros
  • 1. Silent during simple work (movies, Internet, programming, Word) provided that you turn off the turbo boost in the BIOS 2. Power supply, the display port is connected at the back, this is generally a top for me, since I use a laptop with an external display. 3. Finally top performance in a backpack (see comment)
Cons
  • After a few months of everyday operation, I realized that for me personally there are no shortcomings.

I'm impressed! Exactly the product deserves your attention.

There are not so many reviews on this model (although it is strange - the decision turned out to be very successful), so I decided to leave a fairly detailed review. The laptop was bought a month ago in Hong Kong, in the modification i5-8300H / 16GB / RTX2060 / 128GB / W10 (1809). I’ll make a reservation right away that, in my understanding, the solution is clearly not the most mobile, i. E. intended use cases are gaming/multimedia desktop replacement and/or portable workstation (actually…

Pros
  • 1) The price/performance ratio (as of June/July 2022 is one of the best on the 2022 market) in the i5-8300H/9300H+RTX2060 modification; options with i7 + RTX2070 greatly add to the price; 2) Screen (recorded both in pluses and minuses - see disadvantages); 3) Keyboard (similar to previous paragraph): very convenient for typing, working with tables + number block and backlight; 4) Build quality (the laptop feels closest to the Alienware m 17x R3/R4 models in the hands, minus the alien design of the case and the soft-touch coating under the wrists); 5) Cooling system (both in terms of efficiency and noise); 6) Maintainability / upgradeability / ease of disassembly; 7) Extensive opportunities for setting BIOS-a; 8) Location and set of ports (the presence of almost all modern connectors (I will separately note the card reader) + the rear location of the power connector and part of the ports).
Cons
  • 1) The touchpad (not very well fixed (backlash), tactile is not very pleasant (subjectively): perhaps a defect in a particular model); 2) Screen (here is the most controversial point, so I will write as concisely as possible: for most standard tasks, including games, FHD / IPS / 60 Hz - a matrix for a solid four, but if you start talking, say, about working with photo / video, then even in laptops I saw much better and in such a scenario I won’t put it above the top three on this item); 3) Keyboard: average feedback (which is good in Word - not very good for games :) + requires getting used to; in addition, on the right side there is a noticeable deflection + backlash of the switch block); 4) OS setup out of the box and pre-installed software; 5) Sound (very average even by laptop standards: conditionally 2.5 out of 5; in addition, there is no volume margin).

I am delighted, the product is really worthy.

Has pros: powerful (modern games are running, video editing without problems), inexpensive (in terms of price / quality ratio) Cons: sometimes it freezes for 1-2 seconds (probably because of the built-in software, until I figured it out)

A very high-quality product, I take it not for the first time.

Otherwise, the laptop is recommended for purchase! Its pros: The laptop is just super for its money, when you just work with documents or with other simple tasks, you don’t hear any cooling noise at all . under load, in games they certainly wake up, but in general the noise from them is tolerable . the power reserve of the laptop good, in Windows I recommend setting the power saving mode so that less voltage is supplied to the processor, respectively, it will have a positive effect on the…

Im amazed! It was definitely worth the money!

I bought a laptop a month ago. For a very long time I chose a laptop for games with a screen frequency of 60Hz. And as it turned out, in terms of the ratio of money and quality, DELL turned out to be the same. The screen is just a bomb! This is certainly not Apple, but damn it, and not like everyone else. And I was very pleased with the build quality and minimalist design. Yes, by the way, the clave glows! Not like a rainbow shimmers like many mediocre ones . but a pleasant white light. The…

Pros
  • Ergonomic, powerful, cheap, which touchpad, ergonomics and build quality.
Cons
  • A bit noisy in heavy games

I expected more from the purchase, but not the worst option.

With its pros. + Best price/performance ratio. (Chinese NO NAME brands are not taken into account) + Full set of ports, including Thunderbolt and a full SD card reader. + Cool BIOS with lots of settings. Different cons: - Lights on the screen. All specimens have approximately the same picture: bright dotted light from above and extensive light from below. (see photo) - Keyboard like a cheap office laptop: * Key travel is short (although the keystrokes feel good). * Arrows are very small. I t
