We loved how these gold lights looked around our decks because they added a great outline. If you're looking for something to "light the way," these lights aren't for you. They don't give off much light to illuminate anything, but they're good for outlining. And VERY LOW power is just a plus. THE PROBLEM is that they were less than a month old and they were working 2 hours every night! We made the mistake of buying 5 sets of these lamps. That's about $80 down the drain!

The filaments are two 35 bulbs connected together. In the middle of the thread are red lights next to each other where the threads converge. End lights are also red. When the strands are connected, red lights appear side by side. Strands must consist of a red start and end and a green start and end. So the middle lights alternate where the strands connect and the end lights are not the same color so the lights alternate where they connect.

I ordered 3 sets of purple, green and yellow lights for Mardi Gras. Unfortunately they were out of season so they sent me purple and gold ones. When I called to let me know what I thought of the confusion, Denis (the gentleman in charge of the orders) updated me and then sent me 3 green fairy lights free of charge to complete my colors. The lights look fantastic and the service I received from this company was exemplary! I love the light and will only order new lights in the future. Your choice

These flashlights defy description. I have bought several of these over the past few years because they are very high quality and last a long time. By the latter, I mean they don't burn out in 30 days like many other fairy lights made outside of the US. Or even better, as soon as it rains or winds, the light comes on anyway! Green and yellow lights look green and orange (enough to decorate St Paddy's Day). According to the seller, they should be that color, although they don't appear to be the same color as the product photo. Green lights are too bright for nighttime TV viewing or lounging indoors, but will likely work outdoors as they put out more light. Note.
