Battery does not hold a charge

Brightness 6 out of 10, Battery is NOT internal, Battery is a very bulky external box (wired) requiring serious installation problems. I was able to deal with these issues, but when I turned off the light and tried to use it a few days later, the battery died! I thought maybe I left it on and didn't realize it was on, but after a few tries the result is the same. Worst of all, you have to remove the clunky external battery from its mount to charge it. The light is very well made and very useful, but the rest of the kit is neither reliable nor useful.

The flashlight itself is built really well into the aluminum body. Cree's standard LED connector allows you to use your favorite battery from Outbound Lighting, Gloworm, etc. Anything else shouldn't be seen as something you really should be using. The button on the back is much more responsive than the Bluetooth button. (Mine broke after about a week) Also for the price - the flashlight itself is a great buy - great reliable light. I would not buy again!

The light itself is bright but the battery does not hold the charge long. My problem is that the button on the remote fell off while driving. Update: I have contacted Novsight and they are refusing to replace the remote which just fell apart while driving on the road and they say the battery is dead. My 2nd headlight was the worst completely and completely used. MORE PARTS MISSING. Nice metallic light. The beam shines wide and downward, not in the eyes of passing motorists.
