Headlights cleaned on car, all fogged up, dealt with quickly and without much scrubbing. With that said, I purchased a RainX product that was claimed to do the same - it worked even better.

How well this works depends on the type of plastic you are using it on. It works well on my dashboard plastic (clear, very thin) but not so well on my motorcycle windshield (smoky, 1/4 inch thick). I tried it on the shiny plastic of a vacuum cleaner and it seemed to remove some of the scratches. Then I tried it on my laptop and it didn't remove any of the scratches. I can't say it doesn't work, but it's not a miracle solution.

Used to repair a motorcycle windshield. I did most of the work by hand, then finished with a drill and a foam pad. I left the shield mounted on the bike, which slowed things down a bit. It took 3.5 hours to polish both sides. Initial condition had many small swirl scratches and some tarnishing. Came out like new. Used #2 for restoration, #1 as a cleaner. Doesn't work! I followed the directions to the T and made sure the windshield on my Goldwing was clean, then used #2 on a small area about 3" x 4". I worked this area perpendicular to the small scratches, making sure to leave enough solution on the fabric as directed. I let it dry to a matte finish and buffed it with a clean microfiber cloth. I've used many shine products over the years but I can say this polish comes as no surprise. It actually does a good job of deep cleaning the plastic on my bike's windshield, but to be honest it doesn't help much with scratches, even small ones. But the cleaning results are quite decent. Just don't expect it to work wonders on even minor scratches. 3M makes a plastic polish that actually removes minor scratches. I just wanted to try Novus because it's a lot cheaper.

I bought this to remove very light scratches from the taillights on my 2015 Challenger. Minor scratches will not be removed. As for the cleaner, I think it works well, but the spray pattern is too wide to make it practical. If you are planning to clean a large area, this is ideal.
