Superb quality, best interior accessories

Amazing! Fits perfectly on my 90's Miata. managed to save the horn. No modifications are required for anything to work or fit.

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • No mold required

Does what it's supposed to

Worked great with my quick release on my Miata 97, I had to modify my clock spring to fit but otherwise worked great. And thanks to the quick release, the steering wheel was almost in its original position.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Annoys

lose the beep function. Solution found!

I had to remove the steering wheel clock spring so you can't use the horn. If you're using an aftermarket steering wheel, there's a high chance you'll end up with a loud, obnoxious exhaust. It's my fault too. Instead of beeping, just twist this suction cup instead of beeping.

Pros
  • Nice to use
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

Ok read the forums about it. You are real.

Ok read the forum about it. They only fit early Miats. For my 2002 NB2 I had to remove the airbag/horn clock spring and the base plate/wiring from the adapter. I then had to re-drill the turn signal reset holes with a 90 degree offset. So in the end it was a lot of installation work and I lost my horn.

Pros
  • Finally bought
Cons
  • Nothing here

Works with RX-7 but requires modifications

Quality part but requires hub and vehicle modification to work on Mazda RX-7 (FD3S). The clock spring had a plug that had to be modified and also had to remove the plastic/brass ring from the bottom of the socket. See photos. I'm using this in conjunction with the NRG-Wuick version (v2.5) and it looks/works great!

Pros
  • Absolute Legend
Cons
  • Commercial availability

Get Your Swerve On Good for Steering Accessories

This is the main hub for most if not all Mazdas. I have this installed on both my RX-8 and Mazdaspeed 6. Easy to install when done by a professional or someone knowledgeable about disassembling and reassembling a steering wheel. Other parts are required for the horn to work properly after removing the original steering wheel. Fits all NRG steering wheels with or without quick release and even most other 6-bolt steering wheels.

Pros
  • Great Choice
Cons
  • I'll Be Silent

I have never installed a hub but I guess there are 2.

Have never installed a hub but I think there are 2 ways to do it.1. If you are going to use the metal plate on this hub to get the horn to work you will need to remove the clock spring and find a way to make permanent contact with the horn wire and the back of this plate. Or 2. Removing the metal plate along with the plastic cap keeps it in place which is intimidating with no going back but once removed the extra room at the back of the case allows the clock spring to be used to close the horn…

Pros
  • Always liked
Cons
  • Protection
