Great for attaching automotive fan speed resistor matrix fuse

I cut off the existing exposed part, shaped the leads on the new part, used the supplied ferrules for mechanical strength and soldered by flipping the fan unit speed, so Here the fuse was immersed in a plastic cap filled with water to dissipate the heat. Works like a clock, now the fan works like new. As far as I can tell this is an exact replacement from the same manufacturer of the part in a 2005 Mercury Mariner.
