Perfect Fit 09 Grizzly 550

Fits my 2009 Grizzly 550 perfectly. It will say the old one was glued on so I had to use a heat gun to get all the parts out of the old one.

MAKE SURE YOU CAN REMOVE THE OLD ONE FIRST!

This lid looks like it will work just fine. Looks the same as the factory original. However, before you order/buy this, MAKE SURE YOU CAN REMOVE THE OLD COVER! Mine was epoxy sealed and I destroyed the light mount housing trying to remove it rendering this replacement cover useless. Then I had to buy the whole assembly (which didn't cost much more). The seller refunded my money with no problems but I figured I could save someone like me wasting my time.

You need a heat gun to earn your dinner

Looks like a simple clip-on glass. Ha! Ha! They used a thick black flexible adhesive around the entire perimeter of the lens. I was a little rough picking and pulling the pieces and cracking the reflector (superglue to the rescue) before getting the heat gun afterwards (a blow dryer on high might work). You will need a flat bladed screwdriver to work around the base and remove the old glue and any leftover lens so you can easily insert the new one. flexible and removable, but RTV or a tacky…
