Excellent Condensate Treatment

When I tried this product, it made a significant difference in the performance of my HVAC unit. The condensation was much less and there was no musty smell. The product is also easy to use and install. The only downside is that it may not work as well in extremely humid environments. Overall, I would recommend this product to anyone looking to improve the efficiency and smell of their HVAC unit.

Pros
  • Improved performance, easy to use
Cons
  • May not work in extremely humid environments

Not as pictured

I was expecting a flat rectangular strip as shown in the picture. Mine is more like a cube: 0.5 x 1 x 3 inches. Great price compared to the H/C fee.

Pros
  • Package Weight: 0.045kg
Cons
  • No Instructions

Seems to work

I added this to a condensate pan at home in Florida last spring and the condensate line didn't clog for the next 6 months while I was up north (it clogged last summer while he was away ). After 6 months, a small yellow substance remained from the tablet in the drip tray. However, I also had someone pour a cup of bleach down the line every month, and maybe that was more important. The combination of these two things worked last summer

Pros
  • Safe on metal and plastic drain pans
Cons
  • No automatic
