I've always taken good care of my skin and recently started the 2-step cleanser. Thought these microfiber pads would be great for step two. However, they were too flimsy and fragile for me not to tip over on their own. I gave it to a friend and she loves it so I guess it's a matter of opinion.

I get the same effect as my regular old cotton pads but even better because they are VERY soft and have a lot of surface area so more value from a cotton pad. I have washed it several times and its quality and softness have not diminished. .And there are more than enough of these pads that you can't rush to wash the dirty ones more often than a week or two. I'm still amazed at how well they work. I literally use water, that's all. All my makeup washes off gently - even the mascara which has always been the hardest part for me to wash off. Used to use MUE and wanted a different pad for each day, thought about ordering 7-13 Halos for face and did it because the price was great and I'm glad I did! They work just as well if not better than MUE and have one for each day plus two extra for two weeks. So if you don't wash all the time, it's a lot better than a makeup wipe or two. Honestly, I don't understand how this works. BUT YOU DO. Whenever I wash my face (regularly) there is always a ton of black eye makeup that gets under my eyes from my mascara and eyeliner. It's a lot and I use a makeup wipe to remove it. But lately I've been feeling guilty about makeup wipes because they end up in landfill, and in fact only Almay wipes are biodegradable. So I bought them out on a whim to see if I could end up just switching to them after running out of wipes I'd already bought.

I use them every day to remove eye makeup and as a toner after washing (no not the same lol). I like that they are reusable and the bag is very practical. I just toss the used pad in a bag and then just throw it in the washing machine at the end of the week. Would like more absorbency. Love it! I actually got a makeup eraser soon after and I honestly prefer the smaller circles. I like having a clean washcloth every day, plus I find it easier to manage small circles when washing my face than with such a large washcloth.
