Charcoal Dotted Diamond Trellis Wool Runner Rug by nuLOOM, Size 2' x 6' Review

Unfortunately not as good as hoped. Don't pay full price for it! The carpet is not in a high traffic area (kids room/guest room) and we only have a 4 month old baby, no other children. In one place the carpet has already started to peel off. I might try returning it for a new one if returning the large rug isn't too difficult. Disappointed because the design/color is cute and it was a great deal on Prime Day.

I bought this rug for a girls nursery. Looks kind of dirty. Very disappointing because the photos looked cute and I used this feature to see how it would look in the room. The size is perfect but the pattern where it looks white is more of a dirty yellow. I wish I had bought something else for her room. I will definitely try to come back and take something nicer. It just makes her room look less clean and pretty.

I've been looking for weeks and trying to decide which carpet we should choose for our soon-to-be baby's room. I've gone crazy I finally decided to do it and I'm very glad we did! This is exactly the dusty pink color I was looking for. We went with 5x7 and it was exactly the size I was looking for just to add color to the space. I read in other reviews that it's itchy. I haven't put it down but when I touch it with my hands and feet I find it feels great. It's very soft but not like itchy wool.

Overall a good rug but there are some notable flaws. He sheds. how. crazy. You can't sit in it without getting up and finding your bottom and legs covered in tiny white fibers. We have a Dyson vacuum cleaner and no matter how much or how often we vacuum, it always makes a mess. It does not hold up well to traffic and easily develops brown stains that are difficult to clean. This rug is beautiful and would look PERFECT in my girls nursery. BUT. it is very material and wiry. To the point where you can't sit on it because the little wiry hairs will pierce you (even through your pants) and it hurts. My baby can't crawl on it. Also, and that's the worst part. IT SHEDS! Amazing! We bought a rug for our bedroom but smelled chemicals before we even opened the box it was wrapped in! Terrible! So we sent it back and went with the wool. Unlike cotton, it feels thick and so soft underfoot and doesn't release any chemicals. This rug is so beautiful it is a must have and you will love it. Nice carpet! Thicker and nicer than I expected given the cheap price. Keep in mind that "baby pink" isn't actually baby pink. It's more of a muted warm pink red so I think this rug is more versatile and doesn't make you feel like a little girl princess. Also, "white" is not white. It's a subtle cream color.
