My 5 month old daughter is small and wants to do everything by herself, this product allows her to eat by herself without a lot of mess! It also helps my mother as I am visually impaired and my depth perception is not 100% especially with a moving baby, trying to hit the target is a struggle for both her and me! I am very grateful for the peace of mind it gives me to watch her feed herself with ease. (Sometimes she lets her mother help her!)

I love spoons. They are great for my approach to weaning my 6 month old baby. I love the dynamics of the bowl to draw from and it's designed for beginners. However, she turns the bowl over every time and plays with it, spilling the food. I want it to suck or have some way that it doesn't tip over so easily. She just reaches down and flips it over. The remaining spoons are also ideal as teething rings. The bowl is pretty good overall, aside from flipping it.

Not suitable for microwave and dishwasher. The microwave actually melted the bowl in less than thirty seconds on medium. Baby can still pick up the bowl and depending on your baby's size it may be difficult for him to see inside the bowl as the sides of the bowl are quite high for a four month old. We actually bought this set for our 20 month old baby who has some texture issues that prevent him from chewing and swallowing food effectively. He loved those textured feeding spoons!
