👞 Nunn Bush Slip-On Loafers: Black Men's Shoes for Effortless Style and Comfort Review

I received them in September 2017. It's November 2017 and one of the soles is already separating from the upper. Investigating the problem, I noticed that it wasn't even skin. It's a thin layer of black plastic sheeting over what appears to be cardboard. I would like my money back but I think a week later is too late.

A little tight when new but fits well after a few days of wear. I've ridden about 400-500 miles in this pair of shoes in the last 14 months with very good wear and excellent durability. I calculated the distance with my fitness band, so that's a very good estimate. When buying another pair I now see a small hole in the sole. Check out my photos how it looks after 400-500 miles. I took off a star for the tightness.

The first two pairs, one black, one cognac, previously bought and looked at, fell out. Size 12XW. The third pair should be "Crazy Horse" but it doesn't look like the picture on the web or any other picture. The bodice is a smooth brown (see my photo) and not striped or mottled as shown in the image online. But there are no obvious flaws, they fit the same and they have a small rawhide tongue at the top of the heel. These are exactly the same shoes, just with a different finish. And I must say…

Full of anticipation, I slipped my foot into the first Nunn Bush it's ever been in, but found it very loose on the inside and slipped too easily. I then tested it on the kitchen floor, old linoleum, and found that the fresh sole had almost no friction and glided easily over dry linoleum. They will be sent back and I will look for another set that fits snugly and has less slippage. I usually take 10 but they had plenty of wiggle room and I would consider going down a size if reordering the same…

My husband has had foot problems for a number of years, I bought him a pair of these shoes for Christmas, he said they were the most comfortable shoes he had ever worn. I was looking for another pair of these shoes in local shops and couldn't find them, I wanted to get him a pair for his birthday. I checked out Revain and found them, they arrived quicker than expected and he is very happy with his birthday shoes. Now he has a black and tan pair.

Buying shoes online can sometimes be risky. I have purchased other Nun Bush shoes locally and was happy with the fit and comfort so I was confident they would fit the way they did. I am satisfied with the fit, the wearing comfort and the processing. They arrived neatly packaged and in good condition. I am happy with my purchase and will upgrade my rating to 5 stars if they last a reasonable amount of time. I would recommend them to others.
