I like this because it has a sound and vibration alert for your pet. If the dog is ignoring you and still misbehaving, these two options allow you to get his attention and you don't have to go to stronger levels to stop the misbehavior.

I have recommended this to at least 4 friends at the dog park and they love it too. This will change your relationship with the dog and the dog doesn't care. Definitely waterproof and only needs to be charged once every few months. And I use it several times a day!

You can accidentally press buttons and change settings without knowing it. Works very well. the distance to the collar is as expected, and the intensity of the slap is adjustable from absent to "insane dog". Before you decide to collar your dog for the first time, familiarize yourself with the remote control and start at the lowest level and work your way up.

We have a stubborn 6 months. old beagle mix pup and while I don't approve of his "shock" format (happened only once at very low level 5) he got a message and we just had to use vibe or tone with him. We're teaching him NOT to jump on people. My husband and I are very happy with this product so far.

We made this to fix some of our Lab's behaviors like stealing food and growling over food. I have this on my most stubborn lab mix possible. Vibrations are strong and attract attention. The beep is perfect and makes my pup come towards me as it is loud enough. The kick (I tried it on the inside of my forearm first) works surprisingly well. It's best to keep it low as it's a more powerful hit. But it won't hurt the settings I tested.
