The way the description is written led me to believe that the collar does not require a remote control. Nowhere does it say that the collar is interchangeable. The overall package works very well and is easy to use and set up.

I had a collar that worked great until my pup chewed the collar in half. I just bought 2 more collars to pair with the remote and they won't pair. I've searched the internet for a solution and it seems this is a common problem. Now glue 2 new clamps. 1 star

I have a lot of experience with different brands of collars; After collecting almost ten different stamps, this one stayed with me without any problems. The other brand will only work well with you in the beginning, after that you'll know it won't work for more than a few months, but NVK will stick with me, my advice is to take it for a long time.

Bought for our dogs, we have a Lab, and a Cocker Spaniel mix. My lab has a problem with her flying out the door as soon as it opens, and while she's very friendly, I know my neighborhood is tired of seeing her on her daily unsupervised walks! 😂 We only use beep and vibrate modes and after only 2 days the dogs understood what beep means and now they only need beep mode! The battery life of the collar and remote control is phenomenal!

We have two more of these collars which we have been using for three years with excellent results. A new puppy was added to the family so of course he had the same collar system. Less than two months old and this thing is dead as a doornail. Doesn't charge, doesn't show anything, just dead. And of course it's past the return period so we've got another one to go.
