Bought for a friend who braids my daughter's hair. She uses it to part the fake hair on the stand when braiding it. Once the hair is buttoned up, she simply takes the fake hair that has been parted and weaves it into my daughter's hair. She was thrilled when I gave it to her. This reduces web time. Great product!

This is a slightly different size than the one I bought two years ago (probably from a different factory). This one came with a broken spindle. I would have taped it back but the broken part wasn't even in the box leading me to believe it was broken when shipped from China (QC is missing something I think). Once she was on the wall with a thread. and coils, that's fine.

I bought this because I thought it could hold larger spools of thread. Although it's my fault. Large spools are VERY large for this. I got around this by using my 3D printer to print the base for spools of thread, which can then be used to sit on wooden pegs without falling off. It's not bad. Admittedly I had never seen these Irls before so I was surprised how small she actually was when I got her. It holds 40 spools of thread so isn't too small but I guess I expected it to be a bulkier type of
