Efficient Thermal Solution for PCs

This heatsink provides an efficient and stable cooling solution for high-performance computers. Its sleek aluminum design is perfect for any rig build. While it is a bit heavy, it's a small price to pay for its overall performance. It's an essential tool for any Industrial and Scientific application.

Pros
  • Durable and lightweight due to its aluminum construction
Cons
  • Potentially inadequate for extremely high-powered gaming PCs or servers due to its modest size and thermal capacity

Worked to cool my UniFi controller

Used 2 of these with thermal paste and a small fan to cool my UniFi Generation 2 Cloud Key overall reduced from 50 cents to 34 cents.

Pros
  • Widely used for Computer, Power Transistor, FET, IC, Power Amplifier, Voltage Regulator, MOSFET, SCR etc.
Cons
  • disappears

Good extruded aluminum heatsinks

I don't have the tools to measure the thermal resistance of these heatsinks to air, but if you look at them you can see that the fin area is large enough to transfer heat from the heatsink to air. The base is thick enough to disperse heat across the fins and help with transient heat in the object being cooled. Those are good sinks.

Pros
  • Reduce the risk of equipment failure due to overheating.
Cons
  • Requires socket
