🐴 Breyer 2474 Halters with Nylon Material Review

Disappointed. Expected to get what was pictured, rope halter. But that wasn't what I got. They are very cheap and flimsy. They are adjustable but still too big for my traditional horses! Will come back if possible.

This must be fake but in a truly official packaging. As you can see from the photos, there is nothing right at all about halters. In the picture it doesn't look like anything, not even one. It's pretty awful.

Please do not purchase these halters. These don't look like the picture at all. I should have read the reviews before letting my daughter buy them with her birthday money. Very cheap smooth nylon; nothing like a "real" halter. They are also incredibly large and don't even match their 1/9 scale Breuer horses. I will be returning them.

I am writing this because this product is NOT what it says or shows. A material that looks like a thick thread will not hold. Even with traditional horses, it is too big. the balance is disturbed, the colors are very difficult to distinguish. Just very cheaply made. I had a problem fixing them to look like a halter. POOH. Please be careful and move on, Breuer shouldn't have mentioned her name.

These halters look really nice but they are NOTHING like the picture. They are very pastel in color and do not match the texture in the picture. The picture clearly shows the material of the braided rope. These are just cords with no braiding. They're pretty big too. They're adjustable, but that comes with a lot of extra cable. Not bad overall but wish the photos were more honest

These halters are pretty to look at but definitely not strong enough for kids to play with. Very cheaply made and would be very difficult for little fingers to put on a bronco. It is clear that the master never had any experience with real horses. I made many of these for my son using strips of tandy leather and shoe buckles I got from a cobbler. Not once have I had to stop my work to help my five-year-old son dress and undress. We have working ranches, buy the road.

You need to know what kind of horse you have before ordering this set. Apparently this halter set is for the largest horse, Breuer's "traditional" horse which is 1:9 at 12" LX 9" scale. Our Breuer horse appears to be a medium sized horse named "Classic" in 1:12 scale and measures 9"LX 6"H which is confusing and counterintuitive to the inexperienced. Breyer to match our Classic 1:12. So disappointing for my daughter who waited a week as it was in reverse order. Must return.
