I made these moss sticks for my monsters and saw people try to attach the moss to the stick with string. Or they tried to close the stitches I used with zip ties. I can't imagine how long it would take. I used these straps to keep the net closed quickly, easily and most importantly: RELIABLY. I bought this to protect the small diameter. Wire to Tube 3/4 HPVC. 3/4" PVC pipe is 3.142" (about 3 9/64", just over 3 1/8") in diameter. I figured I'd be fine even with a 3/4 inch tip before the clamp teeth would snap. When received they actually measure 3 7/8 inches and the teeth only mesh 3 inches (see photos). As a rule, ties only fit 75% of their stated length. You probably don't use them that sophisticated, but I paid for 4" zip ties anyway and figured I'd make at least 3 1/4" usable zip

They were a bit thinner than the ones I used before. Together with them I fix garden nets to protect against rabbits. I've used a few hundred ties and about five were faulty. The tiny tab in the hole broke four times, and one wasn't even there. But as I said, there were many bonds in the pack. They have no upward curve at the pointed end.
