I bought this to protect the small diameter. Wire to Tube 3/4 HPVC. 3/4" PVC pipe is 3.142" (about 3 9/64", just over 3 1/8") in diameter. I figured I'd be fine even with a 3/4 inch tip before the clamp teeth would snap. When received they actually measure 3 7/8 inches and the teeth only mesh 3 inches (see photos). As a rule, ties only fit 75% of their stated length. You probably don't use them that sophisticated, but I paid for 4" zip ties anyway and figured I'd make at least 3 1/4" usable zip ties out of them. I kept them. (Will you ever get enough zip ties? LOL) because they were very cheap. The company contacted me about this so thumbs up and 4 stars for that.
